Emily began her fitness journey as an endurance runner and finished three marathons and one ultra marathon before finding CrossFit in 2017. She fell in love with CrossFit’s “varied, not random” approach to training, the emphasis on performance tracking, and the extra push you can only get training with a group.
“CrossFit has changed my life in so many ways. As a coach, I am driven by the desire to see people move better and embrace the small amounts of suffering that sharpen us mentally and make us better humans. I want people to know that movement is medicine and that fitness and good nutrition are not just for sports but for life.”
Emily strives to help athletes question their perceived limitations, but also likes to have fun and always brings enough energy and optimism to go around! When she’s not in the gym (which is rarely) you might catch her out running trails, meal prepping, or playing Diablo III.Emily is a Level 1 Trainer and a Pose Method Running Technique Specialist.
